Through HomesteadFolks, working hard to be a community advocate to gather people together for awesome kickass gatherings, meals, and social events. This marks the eighth year.

Loved diving in as an early adopter of Figma (2020). 
UPDATE: Love Figma!!! 😍 I was able to introduce it where I work and now it has become a staple for the entire product process and our devs love it too! Using FigJam with clients is seemless and always improving. Nothing but love for the Figs. But Prototyping 🤩

Beginning to focus some energy and attention to AR/VR XD. Another article referenced here.

Obsessively fished for smallmouth bass this past winter (2022) season was amazing! 🎣 Working at getting my family’s fishing gear all ready for Spring 2023, a new season of learning and fishing together. 🎣

Secretly working on a couple app ideas. 🤫

Helping my wife, Stephanie, to get more proof reading and copy editing freelance gigs. p.s. She’s a genius. ✍️

I have a degree in Theology but am not religious. Education barely qualifies much anymore. I have an innate calling to help create space for community to happen and thrive. With an insatiable drive to study why we do what we do and what our limits are, it helps me continually remain curious in and through all experiences, whether that be digital or reality. Along with these passions comes a childhood obsession that has never gone away, bass fishing. I love evaluating every unique condition and strategizing the best route to catch these aggressive beasts. It's all strategy and execution of skill that drives me.

By trade, I choose to get paid as a Sr. Product Designer-Director by helping create the best experiences. In using design thinking to develop solutions, whether that be through software design, native app design, or web applications. I don't care if I'm working with the brightest or most talented, but rather the kindest folks. In that, barriers are dropped, and the best solutions surface. I love mentoring, listening, and helping others see their potential and build upon it. This is me- a husband to a beautiful wife of seventeen years, a father of the best children, a friend the bestest of friends, an ex-pastor, community architect, design thinker/creator, and outdoorsman.
